| Abstract: | A survey of the literature and state of the art of the mechanical aspects of delaminations in laminate composite structures is presented. Surface and internal delaminations of various origin, shape, and location are discussed. The origination, stability, and postcritical behavior of delaminations under quasi-static, cyclic, and dynamic loads are analyzed. Some problems for further investigations are discussed. |
