Abstract: | The bending problem for laminated orthotropic trapezoidal plates of variable thickness is solved by parametrizing the domain of interest and reducing the two-dimensional boundary-value problem to one-dimensional using the spline-collocation method. The resulting problem is solved by the stable discrete-orthogonalization method.
