| Abstract: | Starting from the vectorial Rayleigh--Sommerfeld integrals, thefree-space propagation expressions for vectorialHermite--Laguerre--Gaussian (HLG) beams beyond the paraxialapproximation are derived. The far-field expressions and thescalar paraxial results are given as special cases of ourgeneral expressions. The intensity distributions of vectorialnonparaxial HLG beams are studied and illustrated with numericalexamples. |
