上转换太阳电池的数值模拟

摘    要:
采用细致平衡原理,将太阳,环境作为辐射体,只考虑电池辐射复合,建立了太阳电池的模型。通过模拟,得出单结太阳电池的极限效率为31%,当使用上转换器时,单结电池的极限效率增至47.3%;对于双结电池,当顶电池带隙宽度为1.7 eV,底电池带隙宽度从1.1 eV变化到1.5 eV,模拟的最大效率为39.9%,有上转换器最大时效率提高到了47.4%。

Abstract:
The theoretical efficiency limit of the solar cells for nonconcentrated sunlight was calculated using detailed balance model.It is showed that the maximum conversion efficiency of 31% is obtained for single-junction solar cell under a 6000 K blackbody spectrum.When up-converter is applied,the upper limit of energy conversion efficiency is 47.3% for single-junction solar cell.For double-junction solar cells,when the band gap of top cell is fixed at 1.7 eV and the band gap of bottom cell is varied from 1.1 eV to 1.5 eV,maximum efficiency is found to be 39.9%.When the up-converter is used,the efficiency is 47.4%.
