Stabilization of Pattern in Complex Ginzburg-Landau Equation with Spatial Perturbation Scheme

Abstract:
In this paper, a new scheme of spatial perturbation is proposed tostabilize the pattern in the oscillatory media, which could bedescribed with the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation. The numericalsimulation results confirm that the spiral wave, antispiral waveand spatiotemporal chaos in the complex Ginzburg-Landau equationcould be suppressed, and the scheme is also discussed with the conservative field theory. Furthermore, the spatiotemporal noise is also introduced into the whole media, it just confirmsthat it is robust to the spatiotemporal noise.
