Abstract:The Total Reflection X-Ray Fluorescence experiment excited by monochromaticsynchrotron radiation is performed at the 4W1B beam line of BSRF. The energy of themonochromatic SR was 10. 1keVjust aboVe the K -edge energy of Zn (9. 66keV)].Severalstandard references including two kinds of waters, pig liver, peach leaves and several specimens (including two kinds of mineral water and human secretion) were tested. The minimumdetection limits (MDLs) of some elements are at the order of ng/g.For examples, the MDLsof Zn in the water standard reference GBW8608 and peach leaves standard reference are0. 68ng/g and 2. 27ng/g respectively.
