以作者在原子转移自由基聚合领域的研究成果为主导,结合国内外文献,对近年来出现的颇具影响的可控自由基聚合体系与进行了评述与展望。

Abstract:
Several important controlled radical polymerization systems developed recently were reviewed by combination of the published literature and the authors' research results on atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). In our laboratory,a wide range of novel block copolymers were synthesized by transformation of various mechanism polymerizations(e.g.anion,cation,telomerization and stepgrowth) to ATRP. A series of graft copolymers with controlled branched chains were prepared using halogenation,chloromethylation and ATRP methods. Wellcontrolled fluorinated random copolymers were obtained. Star(co)polymers were also synthesized via multifunctional initiator and coupling approach. In addition,some new catalyst systemswhich based on rare earth metal or using 1,10phenanthroline and bis(2dimethylamionethyl)ether as ligand,were developed. Poly(methyl methacrylate)with bimodal distribution,polystyrene with high melting point and thermoplastic elastomer (PStbPBAbPSt)were prepared by emulsion living radical polymerization. Good prospects for living radical polymerization were also shown.
