| Abstract: | The laser beam transverse size is defined by spatial variance of a beam intensity distribution,the definition method is universal,simple and easy to use optical element for carrying out complete integration. The theory and the method are described in the paper,it can directly measure the spatial variance along a given transverse direction of any laser beam of different wavelength, on the basis of change in the absorbing liquid concentration in a cylindrical vessel. |
