Study on the group electronegativities VI. Group electronegativities and standard heats of formation for alkyl derivatives

A quant. linear relationship between the differences in standard heats of formation and the group electronegativities, and a formula for calculating the standard heats of formation of alkyl derivatives RX (R = alkyl; X = F, OH, Cl, NH2, Br, SH, iodo, Me) were reported. The method can be used to estimate the values of DfH?for other alkyl derivatives based on the known DfH?(MeX) and the electronegativities of group X.i
