A Narrow Line Width Tunable Diode Laser System |

Abstract: | A method is described for long-term frequency stabilization and tuning of diode laser. The width of the laser is initially narrowed by optical feedback with a diffraction grating. The laser is stability to a Doppler-free saturated absorption peak of 87Rb2D2 line by combined adjustment for external cavity length and injection current. Primary experiment shows that line width of 800 kHz and long-term f requency fluctuation less than ±60 kHz are achieved even when the laser is stabilized to a relatively weaker saturated absorption peak. |
