Modified equations for heat conduction

It is shown that the form of the modifications previously suggested for the heat conduction equations when macroscopic parameters are changing rapidly may be incorrect when the heat carriers' relaxation time is wave number dependent. Even when the relaxation time is constant it is shown that for insulators the correction terms previously suggested are in error by a factor of 5.
