Generalized Linear Regression Applied to the Problem on Estimating the Flow from a Water Tank

To the problem on estimating water flow from a tank,generalized linear regression is applied to figure out the level in the tank directly.This approach overcomes the difficulty that the pump refills the tank-causing a sudden increase in the water level,and avoids the additional error of estimating water flow rate from water level data.
