Abstract:

Essentially sharp bounds for small prime solutionsp _j,q _i of the following two different types of equations are obtained.

$\begin{gathered} a_1 p_1^2 + \ldots + a_5 p_5^2 = b, \hfill \\ c_1 q_1 + c_2 q_2 + c_3 q_3^k = d \hfill \\ \end{gathered}$
