Cascade signal amplification strategy for the detection of cancer cells by rolling circle amplification and nanoparticles tagging

Abstract:A cascade signal amplification strategy was proposed for detection of cancer cells at ultralow concentration by combining the rolling circle amplification (RCA) technique with oligonucleotide functionalized nanoparticles (NPs), and anodic stripping voltammetric detection. This flexible biosensing system exhibited high sensitivity and specificity with the detection limits of 10 Ramos cells mL(-1).
