| Abstract: | A mild, convenient, and efficient one-pot synthesis of mercapto-1,2,4-triazoles is described. Various hydrazides efficiently reacted with trimethylsilyl isothiocyanate (TMSNCS) under basic condition to give mercapto-1,2,4-triazoles in high yields. |
