Abstract: | ![]() A design for a submillimeter quasi-optical multiplier is evaluated both experimentally and theoretically. It is concluded that multipliers should use separate pump and harmonic waveguides to facilitate independent optimisation of the fundamental and harmonics. In addition, the harmonic waveguide should be single moded at the output at least, to prevent power loss to higher order modes. |
