Abstract:The trace calcium in graphite was determined by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectyometry(ICP-AES).The measuring conditions were investigated.The detection limit of the method was 0.3866μg/g,and the quantitation limit of the method was 1.93μg/g under the optimized instrument conditions.The reliability of the method was tested by an Americian National Standard(ASTM C 560-2005) test method and the results were in agreement with the certified values with precisions of 0.347%—3.913%(RSD,n=10).The method can meet the needs for fast and accurate determination of impurity element calcium in graphite.
