| Abstract: | The bending problems for large deformation of cylindrical shallow shells under uniform distribution loads are studied in the paper. The nonlinear governing equations in displacement are first derived. Then, a set of detailed formulas for solving this problem with two kinds of boundary conditions (simply supported and fixed) by the orthogonal point collocation method are obtained. |
