摘    要:We study geometric phases of the ground states ofinhomogeneous XY spin chains in transverse fields withDzyaloshinski--Moriya (DM) interaction, and investigate the effectof the DM interaction on the quantum phase transition (QPT) of suchspin chains. The results show that the DM interaction couldinfluence the distribution of the regions of QPTs but could notproduce new critical points for the spin-chain. This study extendsthe relation between geometric phases and QPTs.
