| Abstract: | Poly(1,4-dimethyl-6-vinylnaphthalene) and poly(1,2,4-trimethyl-6-vinylnaphthalene) react with singlet oxygen to give corresponding endoperoxide polymers which on warming generate singlet oxygen efficiently. Singlet oxygenations by the use of these polymers have been described. |
