| Abstract: | Treatment of substituted 1,3-Bishydrazino-2-tert-butyl-pyrrolo3,4-b]chinoxalines with aqueous sodium hydroxide leads to the formation of 6-membered 1,2-Dihydro-pyridazino4,5-b]chinoxalines. The base induced solvolysis is followed by ring opening and ring closure. |
