| Abstract: | 1-Phenylthio-trimethylsilylalkanes, uhich are readily converted to aldehydes, are prepared by the addition of alkyllithiums to phenylthioethene, trimethylsilylethene and 1-phenylthio-1-trimethylallylethene. |
