| Abstract: | Every difference equation x n+1 = f n (x n ,x n ? 1,…,x n ? k ) of order k+1 with each mapping f n being homogeneous of degree 1 on a group G is shown to be equivalent to a system consisting of an equation of order k and a linear equation of order 1. |
