Abstract:The technique of flywheel energy storage is becoming one of the hot subjects in the international research of energy resources. In the article we introduce the basic construction, expound the theory and features of the flywheel magnetic suspension bearings, describe the current situation in the research and development of the technique in the flywheel energy storage at home and abroad and briefly point out the key problems in the research and the developing trend of the technique in the world.
