| Abstract: | The initial boundary value problem for a quasi-linear wave equastion is studied.By virtue of the Galerkin approximation scheme combined with the monotone operator method,it is proved that under the mixed nonhomogeneous condition,the above-mentioned problem admits a global generalized solution which decays to zero as t→∞. |
