| Abstract: | The stability constants and the enthalpies and entropies of formation of lanthanide mono-mandelate have been determined by potentiometry and calorimetry in a medium of 2·0 M (NaClO4) ionic strength. The thermodynamic data are comparable in magnitude to analogous data for complexation by related α-hydroxycarboxylate ligands. |
