The linear modification of Coulomb scattering states by a uniform harmonic electric field

For an electron in the Coulomb field of a fixed nucleus and in a weak uniform electric field (introduced adiabatically), we present a compact analytic form for the solution of the Schrödinger equation which in the remote past coincides with the continuum outgoing Coulomb solution.
