Resonance cones of a magnetic ring antenna in an anisotropic plasma |

| Abstract: | A theory of convergent and divergent resonance cones in the near zone of a magnetic ring antenna in a cold magnetized plasma is developed. A comparison with the electric ring exciter is made. Density variations due to the rf field ponderomotive force are estimated. |
