In the system tetrabutylammonium adipate-water, two stable and two metastable polyhydrates were identified. The melting points of the polyhydrates were correlated with the anion hydrocarbon chain length in the series H2O-[(C4H9)4N]2(CH2)nC2O4 (n = 0-8). |
