Some point set properties of merotopic spaces and their cohomology groups

Connectedness properties of merotopic spaces (resp. topological spaces, uniform spaces, metric spaces) and the relations to simplicial complexes and cohomology groups (these groups were defined in 1952 byC. H. Dowker 9]) are studied. Furthermore, a cohomological characterization of zero-dimensionality for proximity spaces is proved.
