Various stochastic differential equations arising in rheology are presented. Their phenomenological derivation and some of their results are outlined. Rheology appears as a source of stochastic problems and as a test for the applicability of methods developed in the theory of stochastic processes.Dedicated to Professor Harry Thomas on the occasion of his 60th birthday |
