| Abstract: | In this paper, according to the surface properties of latex pa-rticles, the effects of influence the stability behaviour of polymer latexes aresummariesed as:electrostatic effect, steric effect, attractive effect, solvation effect and interface effect. Then the basic principles of steric stability are introduced, in which, the methods to estimate the steric interaction potential Vs are discussed emphatically. |
