| Abstract: | The thermoelectric power of monoclinic TaS3 was measured over the temperature range of 90K to 430K. It is positive at high temperatures, negative between the two Peierls transitions and positive at low temperatures. The changes in sign occur at the transitions. The results obtained at high temperatures are compared with those for NbSe3 and orthorhombic TaS3. |
