Über Perowskitphasen im System BaO?UO2+x mit x<1

On Perovskite Phases in the System BaO? UO_2+x with x < 1 The phase relations in the BaO? UO_2+x system are investigated by x-ray and spectroscopic methods. The higher boundary of the perovskite phase is situated near Ba:U = 3:1. The phase rage depends on the Ba:U ratio as well as on the uranium valency. The composition BaUO₃ is not enclosed. The stability of the phase is heavily influenced by the possibility of charge delocalisation. The properties of a new ternary oxide, 1.47 BaO · UO_2.525, are reported as well.
