Equations of the motion of linear viscoelastic fluids and the equations of the filtration of fluids with delay

A new variant of the equations of the motion of linear viscoelastic fluids, namely Maxwell, Oldroyd, and Kelvin-Voight fluids of arbitrary order, is indicated. This variant is especially convenient for the investigation of dynamical systems, generated by initial-boundary-value problems for these equations, and for the investigation of the hydrodynamic stability of the flow of these fluids.Translated from Zapiski Nauchnykh Seminarov Leningradskogo Otdeleniya Matematicheskogo Instituta im.
