A new catalytic approach to germasiloxanes |

| Abstract: | A new ruthenium(0) complex catalyzed coupling reaction of silanols with vinylgermanes leading to SiO-Ge bond formation with the evolution of ethylene is described. Under optimum conditions the catalytic O-germylation of silanols gives exclusively germasiloxanes. |
