On the emission band spectrum of the Ne₂ molecule in the visible and near infrared spectral region

Abstract:	The emission spectrum of a polymer film formed on a metallic target bombarded by Ne⁺ ions is compared with the absorption spectrum of the Ne₂ molecule. From this comparison follows that the emission spectrum of the polymer film is the spectrum of the Ne₂ molecule.
