Abstract: | Recently published experimental data concerning the solvent effect in binary copolymerization are re‐analyzed. Newer, more accurate, reactivity ratios were calculated using a non‐linear method (PROCOP), which involves all experimental data, conversion values included. The differences between the reactivity ratios provided by the recalculated values are discussed in terms of solvent effect. Based on the existing experimental data, the solvent effect was identified only for a few binary copolymerization systems. |
