Abstract: | ![]() [reaction: see text] The poly(ethylene glycol)-supported ruthenium precatalyst shown above is highly effective for asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of unfunctionalized aromatic ketones by HCOONa in neat water, affording fast rates, good to excellent enantioselectivities, and outstanding reusability. |
