| Abstract: | The infrared(IR)characteristic absorption of curing structure in melamine resins has been discussed. The correlations among the area ratios of 813cm~(-1) band(triazine), 995cm~(-1)(methylol), 1390cm~(-1)(methylol)as well as 1335cm~(-1)(methylene)band and corresponding groups values were obtained. A method for determining methylol and methylene groups contents in the resins by IR was suggested. |
