The Kinetics of Thermal Decomposition of Polymers |

| Abstract: | The rate equations for the thermal decomposition of a polymer by a random scission reaction followed by evaporation of low molecular weight species are solved using a different approach to that used by previous workers. The results obtained are in agreement with their conclusions. |
