| Abstract: | The composition of the essential oils from rootstock of Cimicifuga simplex has been investigated by capillary GC and GC/MS. The main components in essential oil were m-acetanisole (27.57%), (E)-cinnamaldehyde (6.84%), paeonol (5.58%), caproic acid (5.07%) and atractylone (3.10%). The oil was characterized by a high content of aromatic components (52.59%). |
