In-depth Discussion on Radical Polymerization Rate

Radical polymerization is an important chapter in polymer chemistry course,in which the polymerization kinetics(rate,molecular weight and its distribution) are important contents.In this paper,the fundamental of radical polymerization kinetics were discussed involving three postulates and four conditions which were utilized to deduce kinetics with monofunctional initiator,and extended to the system with bifunctional initiator.The factors affecting the radical rate were discussed from three levels,which deepened the teaching and studying of radial polymerization.
