| Abstract: | A reaction of 3-benzylthiotriazole-4-amines with aromatic aldehydes leads to the formation of 6,7-dihydro-5H-1,2,4]triazolo3,4-b]1,3,4]thiadiazines. A dihydrothiadiazine ring opening along the N-N bond occurs by the action of strong bases.
