Abstract: | The homochiral metal-organic coordination polymer of the composition {Pr(H2O)2}2-(d-tart)3]·H2O was synthesized by heating an aqueous solution of praseodymium(III) chloride and d-tartaric acid (d-H2tart) in the presence of KOH. The crystal structure of the polymer was determined by X-ray crystallography and confirmed by IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, and elemental analysis. |
