Abstract:	Summary. Wells-Dawson heteropolyacid (H₆P₂W₁₈O₆₂ · 24H₂O) was used as an effective catalyst for the synthesis of biologically active quinoxaline derivatives from the condensation of o-phenylenediamines with 1,2-dicarbonyl compounds at room temperature in excellent yields.
