Abstract:
Summary. Wells-Dawson heteropolyacid (H6P2W18O62 · 24H2O) was used as an effective catalyst for the synthesis of biologically active quinoxaline derivatives from the condensation of o-phenylenediamines with 1,2-dicarbonyl compounds at room temperature in excellent yields.
