| Abstract: | A 16 channel high power low frequency sonar transmitting system working ata frequency of about 4. 5 kHz has been developed. Each channal is driven by a 500 W lin-ear high power amplifier supplying to each element and the inputs to the amplifiers aredriven from a DSP56001 digital signal processor. This paper discribes the details of thesystem and the principle of its working linear FM scanning beam transmitting mode aswell as some measurements of its performance. |
