Alkylthiochloroacetylenes react with thiourea in acetone to form S-(alkylthioethynyl)isothiuronium chlorides and N-[1-(alkylthio)ethylidene]thioureas; phenylthiochloroacetylene reacts with thiourea to give 4-(phenylthio)-2-imino-1,3(3H)-thiazole hydrochloride. |
