| Abstract: | The decay of 25.5±0.4 min 180Os occurs by a fast beta transition (log ft=4.7) followed by a 20.1 keV E1 gamma-ray transition; the intermediate level has a half-life of 87.5±2.7 ns. These results are interpreted in terms of the Nilsson model. |
