Abstract:
Preliminary results are given for helicon propagation in a plasma. The theory is for a non-uniform resistive plasma, and includes the electron cyclotron resonance, which is important even when ω ∼ Ωe20 role=presentation style=font-size: 90%; display: inline-block; position: relative;>. The experimental results are in excellent agreement with the theory.
